One of the recent study groups formed at Cane Creek will go through the entire bible over the course of their studies. The class leader is Gregg Hemmon. Feel free to download any of these study materials. Our workbook is "Through the Bible in one year: A 52-Lesson Introduction to the 66 Books of the Bible" by Dr. Alan B. Stringfellow, Hensley Publishing, 6116 E 32nd St., Tulsa, OK 74135. We're going to meet twice a month, so it'll take over 2 years to complete our study. We were to have finished up our study of Romans; however in our study through Romans, we came to Paul’s words in chapters 8-9 which resulted in a lively discussion on predestination and free will. People in our study group decided they wanted to talk more about this and so we suspended our normal study for a week so we could lay out the basics in this debate. - November 7, 2001 - Session #3. To be held at the Fire Station. For this class, read the entire book of Genesis. Work through the questions for lesson 2 in your workbook. We discuss Genesis and look at maps concerning Getting Into Egypt, Into Slavery, and Getting Out of Egypt.
- October 17, 2001 - Session #2. To be held at the Fire Station! We look at the bible as a whole and compare various aspects of the Genesis accounts. The comments in red give Gregg's thoughts for the answers.
