
The Cane Creek Youth program is very fortunate to have two excellent leaders, Brenda Young and Kelly Holmes. You can get more information about their background over in the Staff page of this web site. You can also email Brenda, email Kelly, or give them a call at the church office.

Trips and Missions
The youth held a day camp this summer Jun 24-28, 2002. It was called the Summer Daze Day Camp. You can take a look at the brochure.
The Youth also take trips to various locations and for many purposes. Sometimes it's for fun, as with the Shackelford Island trip in 2001. Sometimes it's a mission trip. Always, it's with the love of the Lord in our hearts. Here are some cool pictures from Christmas 2001. You'll also like to see their June 2006 Rafting Trip.

Kid's Club
One of the new programs available to the younger youth at Cane Creek is Kid's Club. They get together just about every Sunday afternoon and do something special. Often, that means taking a trip somewhere fun. On a recent trip, they had fun having batting practice. Click here to see pictures. A good example would be the Father's Day outings. This book was put together by Susan Tollinger's Sunday School class to fully describe each of the windows located in the Cane Creek sanctuary. Youth Program Calendars
The Youth are an active group, so there is a dynamic schedule of events as far into the future as information is available. This area will be updated as often as new events are scheduled or dates and times change. To make additions or changes to the Youth calendar, email Gail or call her at 919-254-3724.
Not-So-Newlywed Game 2007
Following a very successful fund raisers in the past seven years, the Youth decided to sponser another 'Not-So-Newlywed Game' again in 2007. The fun began on December 31 when nominating and declination votes began to be acctepted. Votes (donations) were accepted through February 10 when the field was narrowed down to the top 9 couples. Final votes were accepted up through the dinner on February 17. The dinner started at 6:00pm at the community building, entertainment began around 7:30pm. Click here to get details on the rules. Not-So-Newlywed Game 2006
Following a very successful fund raisers in the past few years, the youth decided sponsered the 'Not-So-Newlywed Game' again in 2006. The fun begins on January 1 when nominating and declination votes began to be acctepted. Votes (donations) are accepted through February 11 when the field was narrowed down to the top 12 couples. Final votes are accepted up through the dinner on February 18. The dinner starts at 6:30pm at the community building, entertainment begins around 7:30pm. Click here to get details on the rules. Who Act Play 2005
After a successful fundraiser in 2004, and a spectacular play by six talented people, the Youth agian hosted a fund raising dinner on Saturday February 12, 2005, starting at 6:00pm in the Cane Creek Community Building. Entertainment was another "Who Act Play". As this was fund-raiser, six lucky actors, selected by vote, were asked to "play" with the youth. Voting was made by donations made to the Youth. You've heard of a "One Act Play", and a "Two Act Play"? Well how about a "Who Act Play"? Well, following three successful annual fund-raisers, the Youth hosted a Valentine's fund raising dinner on Sunday February 23, 2002, starting at 6:00pm in the Community Building. Entertainment was a "Who Act Play". As this was a fund-raiser, nine lucky actors, selected by vote, were asked to "play" with the youth. Voting was made by donations made to the Youth.
